I'm just going to post 3DS stuff in here, so it's all in one place:
Bravely Default Flying Fairy (12-27-11)
This is a sequel, of sorts, to Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light, which had nothing at all to do w FF, but was actually fun in a retro JRPG sort of way.

Will do, as soon as I buy this: Edited by ECM to take the 's' off of https which, apparently, doesn't agree w/ Proboards.

Quick 3DS Thoughts:
Nano Assault (Shinen via Majesco): awesome graphics, and probably the single best sense of depth in any 3DS game to date. THe gameplay itself is, basically, a hybird twinstick/space harrier shooter, and the electron miscroscope-style worlds are wonderful as your ship crawls along their surfaces. It's also only $20 at Amazon!
Shinobi (Griptonite via SEGA): it's...awesome. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's really, really good. I'm hot and cold on Griptonite's output, but they really, really nailed it this time, even if the graphics are pretty blah (nice style, but the substance is pretty budget). The gameplay is just really, really well done and you should absolutely check this out. (Anyone tha's unaware--which I doubt--I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE Shinobi fan, so you can take this to the bank, even if the 3D sequences are kinda blah.)
C.Storm (Mii via 3DS): I had a look at C.Storm's Mii and have come to the conclusion that it does look like him *but*, after consulting some experts in the field, his Mii looks like it's about to bomb a government building. Which is OK, since it'd be a govt building in Canada. Hopefully housing one of the HRCs.

Clearly, Nintendo is doomed. Again. For the billionth time:
I'll give them this much: Nintendo managed to turn a disaster into bacon-covered caviar...whicih is good, I think.

3DS continues to defile Vita's corpse:
1. 3DS: 240,819 (197,952) 2. PS3: 74,459 (67,199) 3. PSP: 71,033 (62,746) 4. Wii: 49,525 (33,208) 5. PSV: 42,915 (42,648) 6. DSi LL: 3,971 (3,356) 7. X360: 2,738 (2,453) 8. DSi: 3,565 (2,418) 9. PS2: 1,323 (1,659)
What's worse is the Vita's older brother is getting in on the action.
In other news, 8 of the top 10 software titles for the week were on Nintendo platforms. Yep, Nintendo is so totally doomed. Again. This time we mean it.

Kingdom Hearts 3D has a Tron and a Fantasia world, which means ECM is probably buying it =/

This reminds me that the only Kingdom Hearts game I ever beat was the first one. I got most of the way through KH2, and played Birth by Sleep for like an hour, but that's pretty much it.
I might still go for the new one if, say, they did a Duck Tales or Darkwing Duck world? Let's start dipping into the Disney TV well here, people. It's an aspect of my childhood that hasn't been properly mined since the NES days.

They had the Gummi ship in the first one, so you did at least get that one It's really too bad that, as games, they're so focused on the aesthetic side that they neglect, ya know, the actual snore-inducing gameplay.

Weekly Vita Deathwatch Update:
3DS - 100,668 PS3 - 30,332 PSP - 22,538 PSV - 18,361 Wii - 14,179 DS - 2,721 X360 - 1,519 PS2 - 766
Yup, PSP still outselling Vita! Go SONY!
15 of the top 20 games for the week were also on Nintendo platforms (although those numbers are generally too arbitrary for my tastes to really matter most of the time).
I am taking no small amount of glee in seeing--again!--that Team Nintendo is Doomed Really This Time3 has Iwata's semen on their faces for the thousandth time.
