You should NEVER buy multiplats on console, ever, unless they offer some sort of unique value proposition. It literally makes *ZERO* sense.
Unique value proposition:
*Off-screen play via U or Vita or some sort of non-gimmicky tablet integration (assuming it doesn't work on PC and that you have a tablet). *ALL your multiplayer friends are on the console version (though they shouldn't be, per the above). *You like paying *more* for inferior versions of games if you have mid-range or greater PC hw. (And they'll only look better as time goes on, thanks to advancing PC hardware and modders.) *You love inferior control schemes--like dual analog--for playing TPS' and FPS'. (Then again, you can have your shiitty controls if you buy a 360 pad for PC.)
More importantly: thanks to a reckless disregard for backwards compatibility, your games end up locked to the same hw for eternity, with no hope of parole, whereas your PC games are, effectively, evergreen.

Yeah, that's usually how I do it, but in this case I'd make an exception just because the PS4 is new and I wants ta play stuffs on it. Chances are Driveclub will be close to release by the time I see NFS cheap anyway and I'll just wait for that.

Assuming that was directed at me: Any game with local MP instantly becomes better than the PC version though. Hauling a PC over to someone's house to play a game is a bitch and a half. Local MP will always work, unlike LAN (spending 2+ hours trying to set CS Source up on a LAN server made me actually want to quit PC gaming entirely) but local MP is probably dead anyways so I guess it's moot. Now that racers are ditching it, fighters are basically the last bastion for proper multiplayer.

Yes, hauling a NOTEBOOK to a friend's house is...actually easier than bringing a console.
(Fired.)

I'd use a desktop though, like a proper PC gamer. And because my laptop doesn't even support HD resolutions.

1. ECM gets PS4. 2. ECM hooks up PS4. 3. ECM powers on PS4. 4. ECM updates PS4. 5. PS4 bricks. 6. ECM returns PS4 to Amazon. Postscript: ECM is not remotely alone. Mine worked juuuust fine. Should have ordered from Best Buy Canada muahahahaha. Now if only I had something to play.

Metal Gear, Dynasty Warriors 8 XL and Infamous are all out in a few weeks, so March will have some decent stuff (EXCEPT I CAN'T FIND A GODDAMN SYSTEM ANYWHERE SO I CAN'T FEED MY KOEI ADDICTION)

It's a piece of shit with no games.
(I know--I have one w/ no (non-PS+) games.)
(Also: way too many Canadians in this thread--I'm going to have to delouse the place.)

It's a piece of shit with no games. That's a thoughtcrime right there!

You don't want us rising up. The world would be a better place without Duck Dynasty. Metal Gear V on Tuesday! Finally, a use for my PS4 that isn't Netflix.

I think the world would be a better place w/o TV--especially Canadian TV.
(And in before Josh and Trailer Park Boys.)
