...get an index card, sticky note, notepad on your phone, etc. and write the following on it:
The key here is to always ask yourself (duh) 'am I hungry?' If the answer is no, you DO NOT EAT. This should cut down MARKEDLY on snacks and the like. It might also help during full meals in that you might STOP eating after you're no longer hungry. The "I want to be lean" parts are reinforcing where it is you want to be.
And this is key: It needs to be in PLAIN view all day long. It goes wherever you go whenever you go. Period. It can never be that far from your field of vision. You can even slap these up on your monitor, on your fridge, etc., just so long as everywhere you go, it's there, waiting, like a hectoring pocket ECM (coming to a store near you this holiday season). At work, slap a note to the back of your phone and have that sucker always to the right or left of your kb.
This should be easy, on paper, since most of us spend most of our days in a limited number of places.
(And please, if you try this, send feedback my way that it's working or not working and why.)

Finding a way to make it in plain view constantly can prove to be a minor challenge, at least in my case but I think it could be effective, seeing how the human mind tends to forget that which is difficult to do.

It *is* effective! 6 of 8 of the people I have doing this are telling me it's making a real difference! (The other 2 are MIA.) Just tape it to the back of your phone and it'll follow you everywhere.
