This isn't going to really apply to anyone but me and *maybe* Justin, but whatever:
*Ring dips: 100lbs. x 1 by end of June (I'm at 90lbs. x2 right now, so I'm very close) Done: 6-13-12
*Handstand Push-Ups: 1 by the end of June (still having issues with balance, but I'm getting it half-right before I collapse upon myself like a dying star) Failed! and thus ECM's purported godhood is called into question.

There's no shame in using a wall to practice.
It's even hard for Jackie Chan. At the end of Rumble in the Bronx there is an outtake where he attempted to do it numerous times and fell over.
No, you may not call yourself Jackie Chan once you pull off the HS-Pushup.

+100lb. ring dips done and dusted a few weeks ahead of my deadline--I'll have independent corroboration in early July if anyone doubts this monumental event. (Or I could video it but...nah...lazy.)

New Strength Goals:
Weighted Dips: one rep max of 125lbs. by December 31st.<--this will be very, very, veeeeeeeeeeery difficult. (I managed 3 reps @ 100lbs. yesterday, so I can probably 1RM 105, maybe a little more, but another 20lbs. is, I imagine, pushing the very upper limits of what I'm bound by physically without really going crazy on squats and very heavy deadlifts[footnote:1]Right now I'm doing sets of deads with around 300-315lbs. for 2-3 reps which, while waaaay down from my max, is probably as much as I'm willing to do these days.[/footnote] again...two things which, given the state of my back, I'm not very keen on pursuing.)
Handstand Push-Ups: one rep by August 31st.<--we'll see if I can make it this time...bleh.

Well, I got one handstand push-up, but....it was purely accidental, so I'm not sure that counts.
(I went into a handstand, held it for 2 seconds, and then just sorta went down and came back up and held it for a second or two, but it was basically auto-pilot and I wasn't planning/expecting/trying to do that.)
