Anyone here fast? (apart from the obvious)
I started following the regimen set in the "Eat Stop Eat" book, which is a fantastic read FYI, once again and am really enjoying it.
I'll stay in a fed state for 24 hours and then fast for 24 more. I've found that switching between both states around 6 pm offers the best results.
Its been a week now and my appetite has taken a major plunge. No headaches to report, but to be honest I've been on a steady stream of Advil over the last few days - I've done this before and God do I hate the headaches.

Well, yes? I've been doing 16-18 on, 6-8 off for...ages. (Going a full day is kinda pointless, IM HO, since you start hitting hard diminishing returns at 18 hours.) In fact, since I told you about that book...years ago Plus, that 40-day one I did a couple of years ago. Fun. But, yes, if you want to lose weight AND can stop yourself from making up all the cals you didn't eat the day before, it's awesome on a lot levels.

The books says that 23 hours is the point of pointlessness, if that makes sense XD
Plus, I find the times I have fit perfectly into my schedule.

It starts to nosedive around 18-hours which, to me, is the point of pointlessness.
(And this is newer research, I'll have to see if I can find it.)
But if it works for you, who cares.
