What happened to the politics board?
I enjoyed reading the stuff you guys had in there. It was like CSPAN but funny.

Nobody posted in it[footnote:1]Very, very occasionally Ruben would post some Mexico-related catastrophe and Adam would chime in once in a while, but that was it[/footnote] so it seemed like a massive waste of space.
Basically it was kinda lame that we had this dedicated section and any visitor woudl come and see that, wow, this place is even deader than it already is.
Hell, I only still have the workout area because I cling to this asinine belief that everyone here one day will wake up and decide to take fitness seriously. Which is probably fundamentally unserious of me. Bleh.

I've got to burn the lazy outta me.

I'd have to find the Mighty CHI first, who appears to have been waylaid by some frost giants in the far-off land of Buffalo.

Politcal related -
I just got a new book on Kindle: No They Can't by John Stossel. I'm only three chapters in but it's a great read, I've always liked Mr. Stossel from what little I have caught of him on ABC when he was there (since I usually avoid ABC entirely). He presents some pretty solid arguments from a Libertarian point of view, which is something I usually agree with, aside from a few points here and there. Stossel is certainly a much better advocate for these ideas instead of Luap Nor.

Luap Nor is a great Star Wars name.<--have to say this EVERY time someone writes "Luap Nor"
Also: he's not really a libertarian--he's more like a libertarian anarchist, with the emphasis on the anarchist.

I will make sure to insert Luap Nor into more posts so you have to respond appropriately. LUAP NOR! Yeah I know he's not, although when it comes to elected officials he's pretty much the only guy they have got. Maybe Bob Barr but he hasn't really been a spokesman for such things.
