Now, there are some people that are addicted to exercise.
I'm not one of those.
So while I enjoy the feeling I get when I work out, and always feel good afterward (even the soreness!), there are just gonna be days WHEN I DO NOT WANNA DO IT.
Keeping your routine during those days is paramount, hence this thread: post if you've worked out on a day where you would have had a big excuse not to, or just really, really didn't want to.
Today: Overtime at work, beyond what I thought it would be, daughter still demanded some rounds of Mario Kart Wii when I got home, so it became a really late night, wife would have rather I played LA Noire (she likes to watch!), but nope, I FREAKING HIT THE IRON.
'Cause I'm awesome.

I never miss a day, since I'm super mega awesome, which is way, waaaay better than vanilla awesome.
(But since I have body dysmorphic disorder the psychological damage would far worse than simply feeling a bit lazy if I skipped a day.)

There is wisdom here.

Bumping for another "clock in" workout, starring ECM's newest routine. Overtime, plus my daughter was refusing to go to bed easily equal midnight start time. But that did not stop me!

Bump for another "clock in." I desperately tried to make it home for work so I could work out *before* game night with jbob007 and borsalio, but alas, work wasn't kind and nor was ms. feilong jr. So I worked out after gaming... which meant I worked out at 1 am. Definitely glad I squeezed it in, but man, working out while starting to drift off to sleep was not fun. Speaking of sleep, time to get some.

Looks like my dream of reaching 10 one-armed push-ups by the end of August isn't going to happen. I'm starting to feel the familiar strains of tendinitis which means if I keep pushing it (as I'm wont to do, stupidly) I'm not going to have full use of my shoulders for a good 6 months. So, for the time being, it's back to more generic workouts until that clears up
