No way! Why does everyone say that?! Snatch is way, way, waaay better written and directed!
As for Harold and Kumar: aren't they kinda getting a little old to keep playing at the stoner game?

Based on some people I know, there's no such thing as too old for the stoner game.

OK, you have a good point. But for a movie, it gets increasingly ridiculous for men, pushing 40, to be playing that game, purely as a matter of good story-telling, even if it is screwball comedy.

Actually, i know more people that prefer Snatch, which is a good movie mind you, but the characters end up being way too cartoonish at times. Specially Boris the blade and the black guys with the fake guns.

Yes, I love the cartoon, tho! That's the charm of it all! When I first saw that in theaters, I nearly laughed up a lung when the dog ate the squeak toy and squaked when he barked--good fucking times!

Danny Trejo plays a key role in the Harold & Kumar Christmas movie. That's worth the price of admission right there.

I think that'll get Chevalier to watch it ahora.
Personally, I'm a bit Trejo'ed out--he's almost gotten to be such a fixture in film (and such a cartoon character), that I'm wearying of him a bit.
In fact, my campaign slogan for 2012 is:
MORE BOLO, LESS TREJO!
(Yeah, I don't care if Bolo is nearly as old as my Dad, we could all use a little more crazy Chinese dude in our filmgoing lives.)

I saw Edgar J. last week. It wasn't bad, although it could have benifited from more politics and less romance <--- Yes, there was.... romance and it wasn't all that exciting from a "1 goes into 0" standpoint.

Your dad is older than Bolo? Isn't Bolo pushing 100 at this point?

Confessions of a Dog I would say this should be a must watch for everyone, why you should watch a 3 hrs film about Japanese corruption? Because the subject resonates a lot, regardless of where we live, a first or third world country. The 3 hours will go on fast, the movie is highly engaging from start to finish.
