I don't know if any of you actually build stuff, but let me offer one tiny bit of advice: never, ever, under any condition, use stainless steel screws. Ever. Period.
You won't know it, but I've just saved you endless tears and frustrations, while your evil, goatee-bearing, parallel dimension doppleganger is gnashing his teeth in fury, while futilely trying to remove one from a board (destroying said board in the process).

Ha ha awesome.
Concrete screws are a pain in the ass to remove as well. Yay for adhesive coating.

Another one:
If you're ever building anything that has any size to it (I'm not talking about a bookshelf, but stuff like decks and framing, etc.) and you ever, EVER, find yourself saying after making a mistake "ah, dammit...well, I'll fix that later", hit yourself over the head w/ a hammer a dozen times then, when you get out of the ICU, make sure you fix it then and there BEFORE proceeding cause, let me tell ya: taking that work apart, weeks later, will really, really ruin your day.
Thus endeth the lesson.
