Here's a thread for all of us who are put in a tough situation, eating-wise, one where we usually fall prey to eating crappy, but through sheer force of awesomeness pull through.* Today: My employer graciously provides food to folks working overtime, as I am today. But the downside is that you never know what restaurant they are gonna order from. It could be something friendly to your plan or not friendly at all, depending on what you are doing. In my case, I'm currently on cyclic keto. So today the restaurant was.... Tex-Mex. The death knell of all ketogenic diets! I LOVE tex-mex too! Believe me, on a refeed day, I might just consider going to a tex-mex place, instructing the waiter/waitress to literally just dump burritos in my gaping pie hole, and let em' rip for an hour But alas, today was not that day! So what to do? Find that ONE thing on the menu that MAYBE could work... in this case, a weird hot dog thingie (smothered in cheese and bacon. Pretty good actually but odd for Tex-Mex). Of course it came with a bun.... which got tossed aside like the white flour trash it is. Temptation........ SLAYED. With a +10 silver sword of will! :-) *ECM is gonna accuse me of never taking an opportunity to say I'm awesome go by.... and that I'm not humble! Therefore not living up to my own Christianity! But the purpose of this thread is to encourage everyone else** to resist those stubborn "food traps" that make us eat like crap and feel horrible! **ECM doesn't need this, with his will of iron. It's for the rest of us!

Pro-tip: the longer you go on dieting, the easier it gets to ignore.
