OK, so, I've been mulling over doing some YouTube videos with some of that trademark ECM wit, style, and panache (or, if you want to quibble, condescension, arrogance, and indignation), and I need some viable ideas.
The key here, fellas, is VIABLE--that means no Treasure retrospectives (Matt), no look backs at early 80s arcade games (Adam), or the pros and cons of fine Canadian liquors (Josh).
The first thing I had in mind is a dismantling of the persistent, obnoxious, myth that Super Castlevania IV is anything more than a dead-average game (regardless of what Canadians like Millartime think, it sucks) and a sub-par Castlevania, which I wager will, if nothing else, attract enough Internet rage to get some decent views.
So, if you have thoughts for *viable* topics, post them here, please.

Well, Castlevania vs Castlevania 4 has sort of already been done: youtu.be/ww_PjqYQi5EIt's more about comparing the whips and subweapons in CV/CV4, but eh. Also, it's full of the usual internet stuff you hate, so, uh, fair warning. That stuff does get views though. Anyway, I do think retro gaming is the way to go. People like to watch/read about that stuff, and the conflict of nostalgia versus reality makes for a lot of worthwhile (and rage-filled) topics. Plus, it sets you apart from the PewDiePies of the world who basically swear while playing recent Steam games. Just think...if you get internet-popular enough, we could do that podcast idea I had!

That video is typical, predictable, Internet garbage that I hate, and is nothing like what I have in mind, which is punching SCVIV in the nuts, repeatedly, until the fanboys submit, with the bonus of it actually being sensical yet entertaining AT THE SAME TIME.
(Or, at least, until it gets tons of views--after that they can say I was the anti-Christ for all I care.)

Yup. It's your competition, though. Defeat that, and you too can be a Youtube celebrity, with all the pageviews and subscribers that fame brings.

Extra ideas: Why Shenmue isn't all that hot Why the Dreamcast 2 will never happen in this decade Why TxK falls just short of greatness, because its on the Vita Why certain types of mobile "games" aren't really games Why companies are stupid to waste so many resources on "mobile gaming" ECMs favorite pinball games Why you should buy a PS4 or Xbone in 2015 Why Sandlot should sell EDF to a competent developer Dariusburst Another Chronicle - An Experience With Awesome Metroid Other M - A Different Perspective Why you should buy PC first, console second Bits, Graphics and You or Why There is no such thing as 8-Bit graphics I'm sure I can come up with more excellent and viable topics
