This is by an indie South Korean company. They want to sell it into the US but not aware of any distribution agreements yet

How many units is that?

Not 100% sure but they usually do these limited runs in units of 100, 250 or 500. Seems like they have been doing the LEs in 250 for the most part so I'm guessing that is the quantity. Retail the unit is listed at $7595 (lower than some other LEs which have been about $8300) so not too shabby either way. Of course the game has a long way to go before it hits production sales of many games in the 90s but not a bad start. As one example, there are still warehouses filled with never sold Transformers LE machines. They did a few different versions of that of course (an Autobots version a Decepticon version, both at 99 production units)

Also in the pinball world, Predator Pinball from a startup called Skit-B. It is a licensed game, using Fox's Predator as a theme.

Yeah. Not sure if its amusing or just agitating that mainstream game sites have paid attention to Duck Hunt which will never be released while completely ignoring both Predator and Metallica which will be. Of course they also have ignored 98% of the games on this thread so at least the treatment is fairly equal.

I want this game one day but it is hard to find. One of the last truly unique games Sega has released.

Rule 1 for VR games: they MUST BE UGLY, no matter the decade, and no matter how much more power they have since NASA started doing this in the 80s.

It's a few years old now but still worthy of mention, IGS' Oriental Legend 2. I have the board and just put it out again to see if anyone will care. Probably not but I try not to give up hope.

Along those lines, IGS not long ago released Knights of Valour 3 HD. Problem with importing either this or OL2 above is that there is no English option on these so for casual players to dump their money into them, it doesn't really happen. You can handle it just fine though - these are beat 'em up games but with the extra option of pulling off special moves based on joystick combos (like a 1-on-1 fighter) and the also have simple RPG leveling up systems. combined with data card readers they are fun games, you just have to ignore the Chinese text on occasion.

The 3D on this isn't impressive (too much interlacing) but the wind effects and the water spray is actually effective enough that when I played a racing game afterwards I missed having them.

PAGE 4 GAME LIST:
Pac-Man Battle Royale Tournament Edition (Namco) Metallica Pro Pinball (Stern) Project DIVA Future Tone (Sega) Allied Tank Attack (InJoy Motion) Full Throttle Pinball (Heighway Pinball) Adventure Arcade (Guangzhou Guwei Animation Technology Co) Virtua Tennis 4 (Sega) Transformers Human Alliance Arcade (Sega)
Just got this in, very rare prototype of Namco's Pac-Man Battle Royale that for some inexplicable reason they have not released as it's the best version of the software for this that exists.
