So, am i suppose to get excited over anything in particular at the e3? Nintendo releases another wii, but with HD and a big ass controller. Sony releases another portable, with just more "small" versions of their bigger franchises. In other words, too much noise about the hardware, but what about the software?

Yeah, I tend to agree (even though I really, really want a U but it's also a really, really long way away).
That said, there were a handful of actual games that I want to play on currently-available hardware:
*Luigi's Mansion 2 (3DS) *Super Mario (3DS)
And, well, unless I missed something else, that's kinda it...=/

The only thing that excites me about e3 is the booth babes.
Oh wait, I'd be okay with a Dragon Quest 10 reveal.
You guys think it'll actually end up on Wii or will it end up on the Wii U.

It'll be on Wii: the userbase, no matter how well the U does, will still be titanically in the Wii's favor by the time the game is completed (even if it didn't come out until 2013).
But, yeah, a reveal would be great...but it ain't happenin' at E3, son.

Yup, E3 yielded a whole lotta nothing.
I'll probably get a PSV while my brother gets a 3DS, so that way we'll share the two and have our handheld bases covered. This was a pretty shitty year, all told.

One comes out in LESS THAN A MONTH, while the other, in 2012. THEY BOTH PROMISE TO BE AMAZING! Why no mention of these?

Thanks for setting me straight!

I trust you have: *Powerstone 2: 1 is great, too, but 2 eats it alive *Cannon Spike: probably my favorite shooter on Dreamcast and probably one of my all-time fav shooters, period *Jet Grind Radio: I don't care what anyone says, this one is better than the XBOX game *Frame Gride: freaking awesome, too bad it's import-only and the load times are PS3-like (ooh, burn!) in length *Maken X: this was long before every other console game was an FPS, and it's still actually fun (or was about three years ago) *Shadow Man: absolutely awesome, underrated, action adventure (for good or ill, it also destroys its sequel) *Spawn/Heavy Metal Geomatrix: I know a lot of people don't care for these, but I have a real thing for games that combine extensive melee combat w/ big guns in a competitive environment (essentially what Quake was originally going to be) *Bangai-O: I actually like this best on N64, but the DC port is still super fun *Under Defeat: awesome, import, shooter by G-REV *NOT Shen Mue: I didn't care for it then, now just thinking about it makes me irate (but I'm sure you Yakuza fans just love it) There are a lot more, but you need all of those.

As a Yakuza fan, i couldn't care less about alien-in--human-disguise Ryo and his boring quest to find sailors, waiting for stuff to happen, and drink soda until he pukes rainbows.

Shenmue did have that cool arcade and funny voice acting. I pop it in for a few laughs every once in a while.
