Well, as it turns out, I haven't bought it yet. Not only are they feeding us a bunch of crap, but I'm hearing things about the game that I don't like either.
1. A good portion of the game's 30 missions are tutorials (with topics like "How do I shoot?") 2. There doesn't seem to be a "freeplay" option (as in, choose your stage and go). You just pick a mission. 3. The knife is no longer a default item that all characters can use. You wanna open that barrel because you just ran out of ammo? Hope you're playing as someone who has a knife!
Never mind the fact that they left four characters out of the game for no good reason. So yeah, between the BS and the poor design decisions, I'm not so sure I'm going to be getting this now.

This game was yet another rehash-fest from Capcom to begin with. Rehashed stages and characters for the most part, add this lovely Kim Jong-Il-esque attitude towards consumers and you have deal that is dead on day one.

Happy-ish ending:
It's nice that Svensson ("diminutive wrestling Swede" as he was once known) is still insulting our collective intelligence, but at least the third-degree burns Capcom received has made them at least think twice. (The only question is: what shady DRM will they incorporate next?)
There's also a rumor in AUS that the game has been recalled, period (for OP reason), by EBGames, but no one has confirmed this yet.
