A short list, but you guys helped me out with Etrians on the DS (I'll get one soon I'm sure). What say you on Wii RPGs....
Except the "unlocalized 3" games of course. I already know about those, and have Xenoblade pre-ordered.

This is a very good question for sure *looks at ECM*

Um...uh...Xenoblade?
There's Arc Rise Fantasia (played 15 mins and never went back) and Opoona (played it for a while, but I think I told you it was just kinda meh).
The rest (such as they are) I have no interest in like, say, Tales of Symphonia. (Which I played for a while but, man, I just cannot get into the Tales series, like, ever.)
(Now, if we broaden this to roguelikes, ARPGs, and SRPGs, you might get a few more.)

More like a small trickle rather than a titanic flood:
Alien Syndrome (ARPG) Baroque (Roguelike) Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (Roguelike) FFIV: The After Years (should have put that one above) Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (SRPG) Rune Factory Frontier (ARPG) Sakura Wars (SRPG) Shiren the Wanderer (Roguelike)
Some others I don't like:
Phantom Brave (SRPG) Valhalla Knights (ARPG)

Some trivia: Alien Syndrome was made with the Vicious Engine! I played it a little bit but it didn't make an impression. I do have Sakura Wars (and need to play it more). That leaves Rune Factory, which I think I would rather like actually. Oh yeah, and that "old" new FF game (After Years) sounds interesting. Of course, I'm still churning through Ocarina of Time before I do anything else!

Alien Syndrome is ugly as sin (thank you PSP port+VE) but if you like games like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, you'll probably love it.

Valhalla Knights is utterly horrific. Like, so bad that it's almost funny. Except for the spending money on it part.

And, man, though this is a Wii thread, if you have a PSP and haven't bought Tactics Ogre, well, you have pretty much burned your SRPG fan card. With a solar flare.
(The same can be said for FF Tactics A2 on DS.)

I would recommend Sakura Wars, not a must but it was enjoyable. That is, if you are just stuck with a wii, if you have a DS then there is no point in playing that one.

I have this bizarre unhealthy desire to play Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon or whatever the hell it is called.
I haven't managed to track a copy down yet locally, but when I do I'll play it and probably regret it.

Ye gods, man! Don't do it! It's terrible! Dull dull dull! You have been forewarned!

And I generally find RPGs to be a dull genre anyway (ducking).
BUT. There's something about (what I understand to be) the melancholy of this game, and the art style. Similar reasons to my trying Baroque, and I liked that game pretty well.
Maybe I'll avoid it. It isn't like there aren't plenty of things on the to-play stack.

It's not even really an RPG in any meanginful sense, if that helps/hurts your decision. (BUT DON'T DO IT!)

Hahahaha. Maybe I'll buy it, play it, and then just FAIL to report the fact.
Can't beat me up over what you don't know!
