I'm not playing much of anything right now due to work issues (which I'm compounding by posting here--thanks Justin!), but when I have a few spare moments I've been going through some of the Lego games I missed and/or didn't play as much as I should have when I first got 'em.
The nice thing about Lego games is that:
1. You can pretty much be half-dead/stoned/Canadian and still make progress. 2. They're genuinely humorous and whimsical, the latter of which goes a long, long way w/ me. 3. I get to play as characters, even in blocky form, that I probably wouldn't otherwise, ever. (In this case, it was pretty cool being Bane in Lego Batman since he breaks backs as one of his special attacks and there's something cool/unsettling/surreal about a Lego person making sure his enemies will never walk again.)
I was also playing, for the first two chapters, Hunted The Demon's Forge, but I got about 15 mins into chapter 3 and realized that I had spent the preceding hours playing a fantasy Gears of War (roughly) and that was more than enough for me. (I suggest that if you're going to buy this, you make damn sure you have someone to play with or you'l tire of it quickly.)

The lego games are a blast with a buddy. Are any of them online-coop enabled?
(MUahaha be happy you have work. I recall ECM from 2 mo ago saying the work was running dry)

I'm stuck again in Tactics Ogre.

Man, I spent a good 80 hours in Tactics Ogre in the 10-14 days after it came out--Matsuno is a god! (Of course I also got hellishly burned out on it, but oh well.)
As for work, well, yeah...I shouldn't have complained because now I have enough for 2-3 people =/
And, afaik, none of the Lego games have online co-op.

Man, from that same Era of Genesis Infamy, try Fighting Masters: a game like that made you really appreciative of Street Fighter II, even if it wasn't already undiluted awesome. (And I bought it new, lo those many years ago, sigh.) Hell, you might as well also play all of Razorsoft's (terrible) games while you're trolling the Genesis' seamy underbelly, as they'll make you appreciative of marbles and 52 pick up and setting your hands on fire.
As for UC, I think it's one of those new-fangled 3D updates all the kids go crazy for, i.e. same old game w/ 'layered' visuals.

I have no idea why Urban Champ has such a bad rap now. I friggin' loved it back in the day. Nothing like beating someone into a sewer while avoiding ladies dropping flower pots on your head.

I'm mostly playing Strania and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX right now.
Golly, those are two games I am very keen on.
I'm doing Strania on the base settings -- no continues, normal difficulty, et cetera. It is hard, but fun. I make it further each time, pretty much consistently. So it feels pretty damn good, although I haven't had as much time on it.
In Pac-Man Yadda Yadda DX, I'm having a total blast. According to my leaderboard placement, I'm aproximately half-good at Pac-Man which seems about right.

Yeah, Pac-Man DX is very, very good.
Alas, my militant no 360 rule (despite owning two...that, last I looked, still worked) does not allow me to partake of Strania.

That's the new Pac-Man game, right?
Thanks for the reminder, I knew I had something I had to do before PSN went down.

LA Noire (love it! It's like serious Phoenix Wright!) Yakuza 4 (already beat the main story, just collectin' trophies now, lots of fun in the open world) Robot Alchemic Overdrive (gettin' my Sandlot on, it's rock em' sock em' robots with awesome voice acting) Shadow Wars (my only excuse to play my 3DS at the moment) Portal 2 (game night game with my friend Jason, who will hopefully be joining us soon).

Yep, complete with (the incredibly boring and stupid) hostess club stuff.

I played it! And I remembered why I don't play Yakuza games:
*Watch (a very long) cinema. *Walk around a 'glorious' open world. *Fight for a few minutes. *Watch (a very long) cinema. *Walk around a 'glorious' open world. *FIght.
And sometimes they even mix it up:
*Watch (a very long) cinema. *Fight for a few minutes. *Watch (a very long) cinema. *Walk around a 'glorious' open world.
Truly, these are stupendous days for game design that truly shame those fools that hang onto the 16-bit days w/ all its straight-forward gameplay...in a game.

Oh yeah! Take this:
Wasted youth! Wasted youth! I remember everything! I remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday I was barely seventeen, and I once killed a boy with a Fender guitar I don't remember if it was a telecaster or a stradacaster But I do remember that it had a heart of chrome and a voice like a horny angel I don't remember if it was a telecaster or a stratacaster But I do remember that it wasn't at all easy It required the perfect combination of the right power chords And the precise angle from which to strike The guitar bled for about a week afterward And the blood was sough dark and rich, like wild berries The blood of the guitar was Chuck Berry red The guitar bled for about a week afterward, but it rung out beautifully And I was able to play notes that I had never even heard before So I took my guitar, and I smashed it against the wall I smashed it against the floor I smashed it against the body of a varsity cheerleader Smashed it against the hood of a car Smashed it against a 1981 Harley Davidson The Harley howled in pain, the guitar howled in heat And I ran up the stairs to my parents' bedroom Mummy and daddy were sleeping in the moonlight Slowly I opened the door, creeping in the shadows Right upto the foot of their bed I raised the guitar high above my head And just as I was about to bring the guitar crashing down upon the centre of the bed, my father woke up, screaming " Stop!" "Wait a minute! Stop it boy! What do ya think you're doin'? That's no way to treat an expensive musical instrument!" And I said: "God damn it daddy! You know I love you, but you got a hell of a lot to learn about rock 'n roll"
I'm not sure if this is a burn on me or you (or either of us), but it's still a good 'song'!
